GatherGrounds Resorts has successfully acquired The Oaks Campground, a sprawling 155-acre outdoor retreat situated in the vibrant region of southern Michigan. This acquisition marks an exciting new era for the campground, with a range of enhancements and upgrades slated to take place under the new management.
The Oaks Campground enjoys a prime location adjacent to the Waterloo State Recreation Area, which is the largest state park in Michigan's Lower Peninsula. This proximity provides guests with direct access to vast natural landscapes and a variety of outdoor recreational activities. Additionally, the property is conveniently located just eight minutes from the public boat ramp at Portage Lake, a favored all-sports lake perfect for boating and various water activities.

Under the stewardship of GatherGrounds Resorts, a number of improvement initiatives and additions are in the pipeline, including the revitalization of around 120 acres of wooded riding and recreation trails.
