Ambient Edge's Students Affected by Cancer Scholarship 2025 Recipient Announced

Alanna was only nine years old when her younger brother was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, beginning years of chemotherapy and extended hospital stays. During that difficult time, her brother received a Make-A-Wish trip that would change the trajectory of Alanna's life. His wish was a food tour of Los Angeles-because if he survived, he planned to become a chef. That experience helped Alanna understand the difference between simply surviving and truly healing.

Healing is a long, non-linear journey, and with this $1,000 scholarship, we are proud to support Alanna as she works toward earning a Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) and opening a community-based mental health practice that offers affordable care. She also hopes to thoughtfully incorporate emerging advancements in artificial intelligence that are reshaping the field of psychology.
