Luxe Cruises announces 2026 Mother's Day lunch cruise on San Francisco Bay
Luxe Cruises & Events has opened ticket sales for its annual Mother’s Day cruise, set for Sunday, May 10, 2026. The cruise boards at 12:30 p.m. from 2394 Mariner Square Dr in Alameda and sails San Francisco Bay from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Check-in opens at noon, and free parking is available at the boarding location.
Every ticket includes a chef-prepared buffet lunch, complimentary champagne, bottomless mimosas, and live DJ entertainment aboard the Cabernet Sauvignon Yacht. The route passes the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, and the San Francisco skyline. A cash bar is also available on board for cocktails, wine, and beer.

Desserts: Chocolate ganache cheesecake and banana Foster mousse cake
Kids' meal (ages 3–11): Chicken tenders, tater tots, and a fruit cup, included with kids' admission

Why Bay Area families are choosing a cruise over brunch
A sit-down restaurant on Mother’s Day means a prix fixe menu, a packed dining room, and a two-hour window before the next seating. A 3-hour cruise removes those constraints. The food is already included. Kids have room to move around. Adults get champagne and a DJ. And everyone gets to watch the San Francisco skyline from the water, not from a booth.
The Cabernet Sauvignon Yacht has enough indoor and outdoor space that different groups within a family can do their own thing. Someone who wants to dance has a DJ. Someone who wants to stand on the upper deck and photograph the Golden Gate can do that. Nobody is stuck waiting for a check or fighting over the last parking spot on Valencia Street.
For families still weighing their options, Luxe Cruises has published several planning guides on its site. A roundup of Mother’s Day gift ideas covers experience-based gifts that go beyond flowers and cards. A separate guide to Mother’s Day family activities in San Francisco breaks down outdoor, cultural, and on-the-water options across the city. And for those leaning toward a meal on land, there’s also a list of the best Mother’s Day restaurants in San Francisco with reservation tips and pricing.
